LOCATION: LIBYA, BENGHAZI
Reports to: Head Waiter / Restaurant-Bar Supervisor

Job Purpose:

The Waiter is responsible for providing excellent table service to guests in the restaurant, ensuring a pleasant dining experience through efficient, courteous, and professional service.

General Requirements:

• Report to work punctually, in full uniform, and ready 10 minutes before shift.
• Maintain professional grooming and hygiene standards.
• Demonstrate friendly and helpful communication skills.
• Work cooperatively with team members and other departments.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu, specials, and service procedures.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings as required.
• Comply with all Hotel/Event Hall policies, including health and safety regulations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and present menus promptly.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Ensure table cleanliness and proper setting before and after service.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables efficiently during service.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with stocking and replenishing service areas as needed.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment

Technology Competence:

• Familiar with POS systems for order taking and billing.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of English language is required
