Position Overview
- NWEPDI AZ LLC is seeking a highly qualified Project Human Resources Manager to lead and manage HR functions for the 315MW Neftchala Solar PV Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all HR operations align with company policies, project demands, labor law requirements, and lender supervision standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment activities and ensure the project is staffed with qualified personnel.
- Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Monitor employee performance and support the implementation of evaluation systems.
- Identify training needs and coordinate capacity-building programs.
- Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration for project staff.
- Resolve employee relations issues and promote a healthy work environment.
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and international labor standards.
- Collaborate with HSSE teams to support workforce health, safety, and well-being.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance improvement strategies.
- Coordinate and lead internal and external labor and HR audits.
- Implement and maintain grievance mechanisms for employees, communities and subcontractors.
- Support social compliance in line with lender and project requirements.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with migration procedures for expatriate staff.
Professional Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience in large-scale construction projects.
- • Proven experience managing subcontractor HR performance on site.
- Minimum 2 years of experience on internationally funded power projects with active lender supervision.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of migration processes, labor code, and international labor standards.
