Work location: Baku
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the preparation of the consolidated financial statements for the Group of Compaies , and conduct a detailed analysis of the results presented in the financial statements amd ensure timely submission.
- Prepare reports for management on the financial performance of the Group of Companies.
- Based on the analysis of activities, develop forecasts and recommendations, and present the results of those analysis.
- Coordinate the audit process of the Group of Companies, ensure the provision of necessary information, and monitor the completion of the process within the designated timelines.
- Supervise the preparation of budgets for companies within the Group, prepare the Group's consolidated budget, and coordinate the budgeting process.
- Monitor the implementation of the approved annual budget, prepare reports on deviations, and work with relevant staff members to propose corrective actions if required.
- Ensure compliance with the annual budget's limits allocated for operational expenses.
- Conduct analysis of capital expenditures and their efficiency, make recommendations and monitor the execution.
- Evaluate the profitability of the projects planned by the Group of Companies.
- Calculate the profitability of new products and make recommendations.
Qualifications & experience required:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, accounting, etc.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.
- Knowledge of languages: Azerbaijan – native, English - advanced.
- Technical knowledge: IFRS required.
- CIMA, ACCA, PMP (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills.
