Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Well Log Digitalisation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for digitising, managing, and ensuring the accuracy of well log data, supporting geoscientists and engineers in their analysis and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Well Log Digitisation:

• Convert hardcopy or scanned well logs into digital formats (e.g., LAS, DLIS).
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity during the digitisation process.

Data Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough quality checks to verify accuracy against original data.
• Resolve any inconsistencies in well log data.

Software Usage:

• Operate tools like Neuralog, Petra, TechLog, or similar for digitisation and data processing.

Data Management:

• Organise and maintain a comprehensive repository of digitised well logs.
• Support efficient data retrieval for internal teams.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with geologists, geophysicists, and engineers to provide accurate digital data for analysis.
• Support integration of well logs into reservoir models and geological studies.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of workflows and digitisation processes.
• Prepare reports on the status of data digitisation and deliverables.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies for well log digitisation.
• Suggest improvements to digitisation workflows.

Qualifications:
Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in well log digitisation or related roles.
• Familiarity with well log interpretation and geophysical data management.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Neuralog, TechLog, Petra).
• Strong understanding of LAS and DLIS file formats.

Other Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
