Role Mission:

• Lead the technical implementation of core company products, design scalable and maintainable architecture, and serve as the central engineering driver within the development team.
• This role combines hands-on development, architectural ownership, and mentorship of junior developers.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend and frontend architecture
• Ensure maintainability and long-term scalability of the codebase
• Define API structure and data modeling standards
• Implement core business logic of products
• Establish branching strategy and PR rules
• Review pull requests of junior developers
• Guide and mentor internal development team
• Help define CI/CD and deployment workflows
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Continuously improve code quality and engineering standards
• Contribute directly to feature development across products

Not Expected:

• No direct client communication
• No sales or business responsibilities
• Not responsible for overall product strategy

Hard-skills requirements:

• 3+ years Full-Stack experience
• Strong TypeScript expertise
• Production experience with React and Next.js
• Production experience with Node.js and Nest.js
• Experience building or rebuilding SaaS systems
• Strong system design understanding
• Experience working in multi-repository environments
• Experience mentoring junior developers
• Good understanding of Git workflows

Reporting & Supervision:

• Reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.
• Responsible for delivering agreed technical outcomes within defined sprint cycles.
• Provides structured weekly job-done reports outlining completed tasks, architectural decisions made, blockers, and next-week priorities.
• Participates in weekly planning and alignment sessions.
• Oversees junior developers from a technical quality perspective (code review, implementation guidance, standards enforcement).

Expected growth trajectory:

Short term (0–3 months):

• Full ownership of implementation quality and core modules across active products. Establishing code standards and improving development structure.

Mid term (3–6 months):

• Increased architectural responsibility, leading technical decision-making, active mentorship of junior developers, improving internal engineering processes.

Long term (6+ months):

• Opportunity to grow into Technical Lead / Head of Engineering role by demonstrating strong architectural thinking, delivery ownership, and ability to coordinate and scale the development team.
