PASHA Holding invites experienced candidates to fill the position of Strategy and Performance Lead.

Job description:

Performance Management

  • Deep dive and provide recommendations on enhancement of periodic performance reports by companies for business performance platforms, consolidating major business aspects, variance analyses, insights and actionable recommendations for the Director's and Management’s awareness and decision-making on business performance and strategy execution.

Benchmarking and Analytics

  • Conduct regular benchmarking and peer analyses to figure out potential areas for improvement and make data driven suggestions. Perform special analyses and develop insights and recommendations in specific business areas.

Strategy Formulation

  • Lead strategy formulation process of assigned companies in close collaboration with Portfolio Strategy and Capital allocation team, fostering a clear understanding of strategic priorities and expectations and translating Group priorities into company objectives and strategies. Facilitate and run business benchmarking, aspirations setting, ideation, market analyses and financial modelling exercises with companies, ensuring timely and regular updates to and decisions from Supervisory Boards.

Operating Company Budgeting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process of assigned companies in close collaboration with Portfolio Strategy and Capital allocation team, ensuring timely and qualitative preparation of budgets aligned with strategic objectives and operating business environment.

Strategic and annual business targets setting

  • Lead effective KPI setting process for Operating Companies, fostering business performance and execution of strategies. Develop suitable metrics for measurement of annual and strategic objectives, along with simulated expected results, weights and ranges and be prepared for discussions with key stakeholders among PASHA Financial Holding and companies leadership.

Crisis Interventions

  • Monitor the execution of strategic plans and budgets, raise awareness and initiate discussions with Director and companies, when performance fall apart enabling timely interventions. Conduct crisis interventions (e.g., significant deviations from targets) upon request of the Supervisory Board.

Committees and SB Contribution

  • Actively participate and share expertise in relevant board committees as part of business performance management (Credit, Investment, Risk, Strategy & Performance Committees) and maintain awareness on business decisions through presence on Supervisory Boards.

Experience, Competencies and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA or other advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Progress toward CFA and/or FRM certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in strategy development and performance management within banking, insurance, or fintech sectors.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Fluency in English and Azerbaijani is required; Russian or Turkish is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, insurance, or advisory (financial sector exposure is mandatory).
  • Demonstrated experience in strategy formulation and business performance management.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and regulatory environments.
