Role Purpose

  • The BPM Leading / Senior Specialist is responsible for driving the analysis, design, optimization, and documentation of business processes across the organization. The role supports the implementation of BPM governance and ensures processes are efficient, standardized, measurable, and aligned with strategic objectives and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the BPM framework, ensuring adherence to governance structures, roles, and RACI.
  • Contribute to maintaining process architecture and promote BPM best practices across the organization.
  • Identify, map, and document business processes using BPMN 2.0, facilitating discovery sessions to capture accurate process flows.
  • Develop As-Is process models with clear identification of inputs, outputs, roles, and dependencies
  • Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods.
  • Design optimized To-Be processes that enhance cost efficiency, speed, quality, and customer experience.
  • Define and track process KPIs with stakeholders, monitoring performance and identifying improvement areas.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of redesigned processes in collaboration with business and IT, ensuring smooth transition from As-Is to To-Be.
  • Contribute to change management, communication, training, and identification of automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with process owners, business units, and technology teams to ensure alignment on process improvements.
  • Facilitate workshops and act as a key contact point for process-related topics within the assigned scope.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Management, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in BPM, process improvement, or operational excellence, with involvement in managing and improving business processes or projects
  • Experience in financial services or insurance is an advantage
  • Familiarity with BPM tools, process modeling software, and process mining tools
  • BPM certifications (CBPP, Lean, Six Sigma) are a plus
  • Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is an advantage)

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of BPM lifecycle (design, modeling, analysis, optimization, monitoring)
  • Proficiency in BPMN 2.0 and process modeling tools
  • Understanding of process mining and data analysis techniques
  • Awareness of automation technologies (RPA, workflow systems)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
