Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process for creating a scalable design system and component library.
- Define design principles, guidelines, and standards for web and mobile applications to ensure a unified user experience.
- Create and maintain a reusable component library, working closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into user-centric design solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design and design systems.
- Present design concepts and progress to stakeholders, articulating design rationale and user impact.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing design systems and component libraries for complex digital products (web and mobile).
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar, with a strong focus on creating design systems.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, user-centered design, responsive design, and accessibility best practices (WCAG standards).
- Strong experience with prototyping, wireframing, and creating high-fidelity mockups.
- Experience collaborating closely with front-end developers, understanding of HTML, CSS, and component-based frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in three or two languages (Azerbaijani, Russian, English).
