About the Role

As a Middle QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality through comprehensive manual testing and thorough API validation. You'll collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and other QA professionals under the guidance of our CoE QA Leader. Your work will directly impact on the reliability and performance of our customer-facing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute manual test cases for mobile and web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Test APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger; validate data, responses, and error handling.
• Create and maintain test documentation: test plans, test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and identify risks early.
• Re-test resolved issues and participate in release readiness checks.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 2–4 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Experience with mobile and web application testing.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in documenting clear, reproducible bugs and test cases.
• Attention to detail and a passion for software quality.

Nice-to-Have

• Understanding of basic SQL for data validation.
• Exposure to insurance or fintech domains.
• Knowledge of basic JSON/XML structure.
• Familiarity with API test automation is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with JIRA and test case management tools like TM4J, Zephyr, or Xray.
