JOB DESCRIPTION
- Prepare, monitor, and update mechanical work quantities, BOQs, and cost control reports in line with project budgets and contracts.
- Track planned vs. actual progress of mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage) and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Assist in preparation and updating of mechanical work schedules, look-ahead plans, and manpower/equipment forecasts in coordination with planning team.
- Monitor material consumption, wastage, and productivity rates to support cost efficiency and budget control.
- Support variation orders, claims, and cost impact assessments related to mechanical works.
- Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to collect accurate site progress data and verify executed quantities.
- Review subcontractor payment applications, measurement sheets, and invoices for mechanical works.
- Assist in preparation of cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete reports for mechanical scope.
- Maintain updated records of approved drawings, changes, and site instructions affecting cost and planning.
- Participate in coordination and progress meetings, providing cost and planning inputs related to mechanical works.
- Support project handover by ensuring cost records, final quantities, and progress data are properly documented.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Specific areas of expertise:Mechanical cost control, quantity surveying, progress monitoring, planning support, and reporting in construction projects (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems).
- Work experience: Minimum 5 years experience in Mechanical Technical Office, Cost Control, or Planning roles within construction projects.
- Language and computer programs knowledge: Proficient in MS ExcelKnowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is an advantage.AutoCAD knowledge for quantity verification
- Fluent in Azerbaijani; Intermediate English.
