Job responsibilities
- Support preparation of detailed BoQ and cost estimates for project activities, materials, and services.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring all cost elements are captured accurately.
- Monitor and record actual project expenditures against the approved budget and identify deviations.
- Review and verify subcontractor and supplier cost submissions, comparing them with budget allocations.
- Prepare and update cost reports, including commitment, expenditure, and forecast summaries. Collect and review daily and monthly site reports to validate cost and progress data.
- Track and evaluate material consumption and equipment utilization for cost reporting accuracy.
- Participate in reviewing change orders and variation requests to assess cost implications.
- Maintain and update cost databases, cost breakdown structures, and reporting templates.
- Ensure that cost-related data and reports are prepared timely, accurately, and in compliance with internal standards.
Requirements
- EducationBachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Specific areas of expertise: Project budgeting, cost estimation, financial tracking, cost reporting, and data analysis.
- Work experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in cost control within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Language and computer programs knowledge (Microsoft Office): Fluent in Azerbaijani; intermediate English;
- Proficient in MS Excel; ERP or cost management software (advantage)
