Job responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate project cost control and planning activities across assigned projects.
- Prepare and update project budgets, cost forecasts, and resource-loaded schedules.
- Conduct cost analysis, tracking actual expenditures against planned budgets and forecasts.
- Identify and report cost and schedule variances, advising corrective actions to maintain targets.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between cost, schedule, and scope baselines.
- Review and validate BoQs, material take-offs, and procurement cost comparisons.
- Participate in progress measurement, productivity analysis, and forecasting of completion costs.
- Prepare periodic progress and cost reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management review.
- Review and evaluate change orders and variation requests for cost and time impact.
- Support preparation of management reports and presentations for senior management.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers in cost and planning tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal procedures, templates, and reporting tools.
Təhsil / Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline..
- Müəyyən sahələrdə peşəkarliq (dərəcələri) / Specific areas of expertise:
- Cost management, project planning, scheduling, budgeting, earned value management, and data analysis.
- İş təcrübəsi / Work experience:
- 5–10 years of professional experience in cost control and planning within construction projects.
- Dil və kompyuter proqramları bilikləri / Language and computer programs knowledge (Microsoft Office):
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and English;
- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel; knowledge of ERP or cost control software is an advantage.
