Responsibilities:
- Ensure the daily and periodic processing and reconciliation of clearing files within the Mastercard system.
- Execute and monitor chargeback and representment operations in accordance with Mastercard and BKM rules.
- Review, investigate, and process Mastercard invoices and ensure accurate settlements.
- Verify the accuracy of transaction data transmitted via BKM, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely correction.
- Communicate with Mastercard Customer Support and/or processing partners in case of data inconsistencies or operational issues.
- Prepare relevant operational and analytical reports and present them to management.
- Stay updated on the latest Mastercard regulations and ensure their proper implementation in internal processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in card operations, clearing, or settlements — preferably within the banking or fintech sector.
- Hands-on experience with Mastercard systems and processes (clearing, chargeback, representment, and settlement).
- Familiarity with BKM (Bankalararası Kart Merkezi) operations is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of card payment systems, transaction flows, and scheme compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data reconciliation skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting and data analysis tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English (both written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple operational priorities efficiently.
