Job description:
Our company is currently looking for a “Mechanical Engineer” to work under the following conditions:
Work Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Type of Assignment: Contract
Contract Duration: Permanent
Work Schedule: 5 days a week based on 8 hours per day.
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: based on experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist of project, root cause analysis, control and prepare spare parts list for critical equipment;
- Technical knowledge and excellent technical understanding in oil & gas industry;
- Strong existing relationships and contacts within potential customers;
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality;
- Ability to understand the operation of various types of machinery used in the oil and gas industry;
- Reading equipment schemes used in the oil and gas industry and analyzing the details used;
- Carry out other duties as directed by line manager.
- Site inspections and checking of compliance of the site activities with Project Documentation;
- Perform engineering calculations to support daily work and ongoing projects.
- Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with contractors.
- Prepares daily, weekly, and yearly plans for maintenance.
- Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: preferable in Mechanical Engineering or related field .
- Certificates in related fields are preferred
- Minimum 3years’ experience in Oil and Gas sphere
- Experience with rotating equipment is preferable
- Exceptional organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- An ability and desire to travel and work in different locations.
- Good knowledge of Azerbaijan language.
- Ability to communication effectively in English is preferable (written & spoken);
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
