Work Location: Baku and regions of Azerbaijan

Job Responsibilities:
- Estimate and manage costs for all activities related to soil works (e.g., excavation, backfilling, compaction, piling) and concrete works (e.g., foundations, slabs, columns, retaining walls).
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost plans based on design drawings and specifications.
- Monitor actual costs vs. budget and report variances to project and commercial teams.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations specific to soil and concrete works.
- Manage the valuation of work-in-progress, change orders/variations, and final accounts related to ground and structural works.
- Support tendering processes and contract documentation for civil packages.
- Conduct site visits to verify quantities, progress, and compliance with specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives on soil stabilization and concrete usage.
- Liaise closely with site engineers, geotechnical experts, and structural consultants.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 3+ years of experience as a QS, with a strong focus on soil works and concrete structures.
- Familiarity with geotechnical reports and structural drawings.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, material specifications, and industry standards related to earthworks and concrete.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and MS Excel; experience with AutoCAD, CostX, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
