The Engineering company is looking for a candidate for the position of the Maintenance technician with the following experience:

Key Tasks:

• Maintain and repair of production equipment including but not limited to lathes, mills, cranes, welding and heat treatment equipment and any other mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic machine as required
• Maintain and repair of facility equipment
• Cross training of other maintenance employees
• Implementing preventative maintenance plan.
• Maintain department records as required
• Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
• Diagnosing and repairing (where possible) of company vehicle (including Forklift).
• Plan and prioritise workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
• Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends regarding maintenance.
• Work on projects related to increased production
• Handles special projects as assigned

Competency:

• 2+ years experience required
• College diploma preferred with Mechanical / or Electrical Engineering subject
• Documentation/reporting skills
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools) is a plus
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills
• Knowledge in MS-Office
• Mechanical, Electrical Maintenance skills
• Knowledge of CNC/Manual machines
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic systems, generator systems
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents
