Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations at a strategic level, optimize processes, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- This role will oversee Warehouse and Transportation teams and ensure seamless and effective logistics operations in line with the fast-paced and dynamic requirements of the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s logistics strategy;
- Optimize inventory management and distribution processes, considering the high turnover nature of the FMCG sector;
- Manage goods receiving, storage, inventory control, transportation, and distribution processes efficiently;
- Lead and evaluate the performance of Warehouse and Transportation teams;
- Plan transportation activities, optimize routes, and control transportation costs;
- Oversee the management of company-owned vehicles;
- Monitor and analyze fuel expenses of the vehicle fleet and implement cost optimization measures;
- Supervise vehicle maintenance and repair processes, control service expenses, and ensure uninterrupted fleet operations;
- Plan and manage the logistics budget and initiate cost optimization initiatives;
- Define KPIs, conduct regular performance analysis, and implement continuous improvement actions;
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Planning, Finance, and Procurement departments to maintain optimal stock levels and service standards;
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and logistics service providers and evaluate service quality;
- Identify operational risks and implement preventive measures to ensure uninterrupted supply;
- Ensure compliance of logistics operations with regulatory requirements and industry standards;
- Prepare analytical and performance reports for senior management;
- Support team development by providing training, guidance, and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics;
- FMCG sector experience is an advantage;
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, warehouse management, and transportation planning;
- Proven leadership and team management skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Experience in budget management and cost control;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel);
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
- Languages: English and Russian – intermediate level.
