Job Description:
Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility, sales, and customer engagement in retail and distribution channels. This role requires strong collaboration with sales, marketing, and retail teams to ensure effective in-store execution and alignment with IQOS brand guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement trade marketing plans to support IQOS sales growth across retail and distributor networks.
- Plan and execute B2B marketing campaigns, in-store activations.
- Ensure brand consistency across all trade marketing activities in line with IQOS guidelines.
- Work closely with sales teams to enhance product visibility, merchandising, and customer experience at retail touchpoints.
- Develop customized trade programs for key retailers.
- Monitor and optimize planograms, point-of-sale materials (POSM), and store displays.
- Plan, organize, and execute brand events, trade shows, and promotional activations to enhance brand awareness and consumer engagement.
- Coordinate with event agencies, venue partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Develop event marketing strategies to attract target customers and drive product trials.
- Oversee budget planning, logistics, and on-site management for events.
- Track event performance, gather consumer insights, and provide reports on event effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing and event initiatives using KPIs, sales data, and ROI analysis.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management to drive data-driven decisions.
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, sales, logistics) to ensure seamless execution of trade strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with retailers, event organizers, and key trade partners.
- Train and support field teams on IQOS trade marketing and event best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of trade marketing and event management experience, preferably in FMCG, electronics, or tobacco industries.
- Strong event planning, organization, and execution skills.
- Experience in POS materials development, Merchandising, promotions, and retail activations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis tools, and 1C.
