Location: Khirdalan, Absheron District

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures aligned with local and international best practices.
• Prepare and oversee periodic audit plans (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual).
• Organize reconciliation audits for accounts payable/receivable within relevant departments.
• Take corrective actions to address non-compliance or financial discrepancies and manage compensations for material losses.
• Conduct inventories of cash and materials, verify results and organize documentation.
• Ensure prompt risk identification and assessment to manage operational and financial risks effectively.
• Lead the storecheck function by regularly visiting the sales points of key retail partners to monitor the merchandising team’s compliance with product shelf presentation standards. Check warehouses to detect hidden products that could have been stolen or concealed for fraud.
• Compile reports on detected issues, and propose solutions and responsible parties to senior management.
• Manage audit documentation and ensure proper preservation of work papers and reports.
• Lead research and data analysis based on specific information sources.
• Organize departmental operations, delegating tasks and responsibilities among team members.
• Prepare and present regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) to the CEO.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Audit, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Experience in Big 4 companies is a plus.
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is a plus).
• Strong command of MS Office (especially Excel); experience with 1C ERP is a plus.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to organize, lead, and manage a team effectively.
• Willingness to travel for business trips as needed.
