Department: Legal and Compliance Investigations Department

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and finalize Sales and Purchase contracts as well as other key legal agreements.
• Provide comprehensive legal support on a wide range of matters, including inquiries, contract negotiations, and internal requests.
• Advise senior management on legal and compliance issues, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain high-quality legal documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Liaise with courts and governmental authorities as required, effectively representing the company’s interests.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 1 years of legal experience in at least two practice areas (preferably commercial, construction, or tax law) with significant contract volume. (Applicants not meeting this requirement will not be considered.)
• Previous experience in the construction industry will be highly regarded.
• In-depth knowledge of Azerbaijani legislation, particularly the Urban Planning and Construction Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• Proficiency in Russian is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, contribute effectively within a team, and lead projects with minimal supervision.
