Job summary
- A senior FP&A specialist within the Group Finance function of a growing investment holding company, responsible for driving the annual budgeting cycle, rolling forecasts, and management reporting across the holding and its portfolio companies. The role acts as an analytical business partner to business units and Finance leadership, translating financial data into decision-ready insight for executives and the Board. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the incumbent owns the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the Group's planning and reporting deliverables and continuously raises the standard of the finance organization's analytical output.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of the Group annual budget across the holding company and portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with strategic targets and shareholder expectations.
- Design, maintain, and continuously improve standardized budget templates, planning models, and data-collection packs used by all business units.
- Build and run rolling forecasts and periodic reforecasts, updating assumptions for market conditions, latest actuals, and management guidance.
- Develop and maintain long-term (3–5 year) financial plans and integrated planning models for the Group.
- Consolidate business unit submissions, challenge assumptions, and reconcile bottom-up plans against top-down strategic targets.
- Prepare monthly management reporting packs covering P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow performance, supported by clear commentary.
- Produce budget-vs-actual and forecast-vs-actual variance analysis with concise, root-cause explanations of the key drivers.
- Perform cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis to support Group liquidity planning.
- Run scenario and sensitivity analysis to quantify the financial impact of strategic and operational decisions.
- Partner with business unit leaders to support planning, challenge targets, and translate operational plans into financial outcomes.
- Present financial insights, risks, and opportunities clearly to Finance leadership and business stakeholders.
- Support Board and investor reporting with accurate, well-structured analytical inputs and presentation-ready materials.
- Ensure consistency between management reporting and statutory / IFRS reporting in coordination with the reporting and accounting teams.
- Strengthen financial controls, data governance, and version control across all planning and reporting processes.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis, management requests, and strategic finance projects as required.
Our Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is an advantage;
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in Finance, management reporting, financial planning, or budgeting, ideally within a holding company, multi-entity group, or Big Four environment;
- Proven experience managing end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycles across multiple entities;
- Strong track record of developing financial models, management reporting frameworks, and financial planning processes from the ground up.
Texhnical skills
- Advanced Excel, including Power Query and Power Pivot;
- Financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting;
- Variance analysis and management reporting;
- Power BI for financial analysis and reporting is preferred;
- Working knowledge of IFRS and financial statements;
- Experience with consolidation of financial data across multiple entities;
- Ability to leverage AI tools to improve financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, data processing, and workflow efficiency.
