Job Description:
- The Production Manager is responsible for managing cold production operations and ensuring production targets are met efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. The role involves leadership, process optimization, resource planning, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules based on customer demand
- Ensure continuous, efficient, and high-quality production processes
- Lead, motivate, and manage production teams to achieve performance targets
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development
- Identify improvement opportunities to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Optimize processes using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulations
- Identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Promote and enforce workplace health and safety standards
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for material availability
- Prepare and manage the production budget and control costs
- Analyze production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare reports on production KPIs and operational performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Manufacturing, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (Experience in metal production/processing and/or managing teams of 50+ employees is an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and industrial safety
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production/reporting systems
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Russian language knowledge is an advantage
- Budget management and financial analysis experience is a plus
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification is an advantage
