Job Summary:
- The Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising production activities during the assigned shift, ensuring continuous operations, high product quality, efficient workforce utilization, and full compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and control production processes during the shift
- Prepare shift schedules and manage workforce planning
- Lead, motivate, and evaluate shift employees’ performance
- Conduct training for new and existing employees
- Ensure product quality and take immediate action on deviations
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations
- Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets
- Track production data, KPIs, and prepare shift reports
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure material availability
- Resolve operational and organizational issues during the shift
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Metal Processing, Materials Science, or related technical fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Shift Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and Lean principles
- Intermediate level of English (spoken and written)
- Russian language knowledge is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production/reporting systems
