Seeton Azerbaijan is seeking a Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure for corporate and government clients.
The role includes switching, routing, network security, wireless solutions, monitoring, documentation, and participation in infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams in Azerbaijan and Ukraine, working directly with customers, vendors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support enterprise network infrastructure:
  VLAN design, trunk/access configuration, L2/L3 switching, STP/RSTP/MSTP, port security, EtherChannel/LAG.
• Configure and maintain routing solutions:
  static routing, OSPF, and basic-to-intermediate BGP.
• Implement and support firewall technologies:
  segmentation, zone-based architecture, access policies, basic IDS/IPS concepts, secure remote access.
• Work with core network services:
  DHCP, DNS, NTP, SNMP, Syslog, AAA (RADIUS/TACACS+), and integration into enterprise environments.
• Support wireless infrastructure (preferred):
  Cisco or Fortinet wireless controllers, AP provisioning, RF optimization, SSID design, and security modes.
• Perform network monitoring and troubleshooting using industry tools:
  SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix or equivalents; packet capture, traffic and log analysis, root-cause diagnostics.
• Participate in network deployments, migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure expansion projects.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation:
  network diagrams, topology maps, configuration documentation, architecture notes.
• Work hands-on with Cisco and Fortinet network equipment:
  configuration, policy setup, firmware upgrades, performance tuning.

Required Hard Skills:

• 2–4 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of L2/L3 switching and routing.
• Experience configuring firewalls (preferably Cisco or Fortinet).
• Understanding of enterprise network services (DHCP, DNS, NTP, AAA, Syslog, SNMP).
• Solid troubleshooting skills using modern monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Experience working with Cisco equipment — required.
• Experience with Fortinet solutions (FortiGate) — highly preferred.
• English: ability to read technical documentation and communicate in writing.

Relevant certifications are a strong advantage:

• Cisco: CCNA / CCNP
• Fortinet: NSE4 or above

• Participation in tender-based projects, infrastructure deployments, and migrations.
• Basic knowledge of network security fundamentals.
