Position Summary:

Seeton Azerbaijan is looking for a Procurement Specialist to support the full procurement cycle — from sourcing and evaluating suppliers to contract follow-up, documentation control and ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials for internal and project needs.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accurate documentation handling, and the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Admin, IT, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring quality and price compliance during the purchase of required goods and materials
  • Regularly updating the supplier list and identifying new potential suppliers
  • Prioritizing the company’s interests in all cases and ensuring transparency during the procurement process
  • Maintaining and developing cooperation with existing suppliers
  • Conducting initial audits and evaluations for the selection of new suppliers
  • Negotiating with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedule, payment terms, and other commercial matters
  • Evaluating supplier performance and preparing relevant reports
  • Ensuring the accuracy of procurement contracts and supply documentation
  • Monitoring the compliance of delivered goods with the purchase order and informing relevant departments in case of discrepancies
  • Carrying out procurement in accordance with the approved budget and providing recommendations for cost-saving measures
  • Preparing procurement statistics, savings indicators, and monthly reports
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, regulations, and legal requirements
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Administrative, IT & etc) to ensure proper processing of purchases

Required Hard & Technical Skills:

  • Higher education (preferably in procurement, logistics, finance, foreign economic relations, or similar)
  • 1–3 years in procurement or supply chain, preferably in a commercial or IT-related company
  • Contract management and supplier documentation handling
  • Sourcing and evaluation of suppliers
  • Strong analytical skills (price comparison, cost evaluation)
  • Time management; ability to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of basic procurement processes and internal controls
