SGS Azerbaijan LLC is looking for a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator who will aid with contract interpretation, administration, and documentation, developing procurement and contract management capacity, and supporting contract management and disputes resolution.
Main Duties
-To manage the bidding process for purchasing Project materials and services
-To participate in the correspondence regarding the bidding process
-To attend bid openings and to control preparation and signing of appropriate protocols
-To participate in the commercial bid evaluations and to analyze them
-To participate in the final negotiation meetings with vendors
-To interact with contracts, legal, technical, and other departments during the procurement of -goods and services
-To work in accordance with procurement and subcontracting procedures
-To ensure that procurement activities are carried out in accordance with the project schedule
-To prepare weekly reports and a list of activities, and ensure their implementation
-To support the development of the status report on purchasing materials and services and submit it to Procurement Manager
-To carry out other instructions of MD and BL managers
-To implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices
-To create documentation necessary for the acquisition of materials and services.
Requirements:
-Bachelor or higher degree in engineering, law or equivalent.
-Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and contracts management, preferably relevant experience in contract management roles of industry projects
-Good command of English
-Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
-Knowledge of procurement software and MS Office applications.
-Work Schedule:
5 days per week, 40 hours
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
-Compensation and Benefits:
Salary will be negotiated according to the candidate's experience and knowledge
