Job Description

• The Equipment Operator/ Mud Logger is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Equipment Operator/ Mud Logger identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations.
• Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well both independently and in a team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
• Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
• Ensure individual and crew work safety.
• Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
• Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma in Engineering, Geology, Mechanical, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in mud logging, drilling, cementing, or other well construction operations is an advantage.
• Familiarity with oilfield equipment, tools, and rig operations.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work in field locations and rotational schedules.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in English is an advantage.
