Job Description:

The QA/QC Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all inspection and quality control activities meet the required standards and specifications. This role involves reviewing third-party inspection reports, coordinating inspection schedules, and maintaining compliance with international standards across onshore and offshore operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and validate inspection reports submitted by third-party vendors, including Calibration, Welding, UT Thickness, MPI, DPI, Pressure test, EX, and Lifting reports.
• Apply practical experience and technical knowledge gained from previous roles as an inspector.
• Demonstrate strong command of industrial English for effective communication and documentation.
• Establish quality standards and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications in line with international requirements.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as API, ASME, and ISO.
• Monitor equipment condition and track inspection schedules to ensure timely compliance.
• Coordinate and oversee third-party inspection activities at the SLB base and offshore sites.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality-related issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree; technical or vocational training in quality control or engineering is a plus.
• Proven experience in inspection roles, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong understanding of international standards such as API, ASME, and ISO.
• Ability to establish quality standards and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications in line with international requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with inspection tools, reporting formats, and documentation practices.
• Ability to assess situations and make informed decisions.
• Solid grasp of inspection procedures and quality assurance principles.
• Commitment to meeting client and internal stakeholder expectations.
• Proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to effectively communicate technical and industrial concepts in professional settings.
