Position summary

This role operates in two main directions: managing administrative tasks within the SAP ERP system's Basis module and providing software support for the STARLIMS laboratory management system. Within the ERP system framework, the role holder is expected to solve complex issues, ensure the seamless operation of SAP processes, and collaborate with various departments to enhance system functionality. Responsibilities related to the STARLIMS system include modifying or recreating existing reports and script files based on user requirements, as well as ensuring the system operates in an optimal mode.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

             For SAP Basis:

• User Management: Creating accounts, updating passwords, and editing user information.
• Role Management: Adding, deleting, and improving roles.
• Managing and executing transport requests.
• Continuous monitoring of the SAP system.
• Monitoring system performance and performing necessary optimizations.
• Modification and customization of SAP objects.
• Managing fingerprint functionality.
• Providing technical support for SAP ERP modules.

              For STARLIMS:

• Modifying and updating existing Crystal Reports.
• Writing custom scripts and modifying existing ones using SSL (STARLIMS Scripting Language), JScript.NET, and Node.js based on user requirements.
• Working with the MSSQL database: writing and optimizing queries.
• Providing technical support to end users.
• Offering system-level support.
• Conducting daily automated backups and managing backup processes.
• Performing administrative tasks such as user and email management.
• Working with STARLIMS Designer to improve user interfaces.
• Ensuring integration of the STARLIMS system with other laboratory devices and systems.
• Conducting performance analyses and suggesting improvements to enhance system productivity.

Accountability

• Configuration, monitoring, and management of SAP and STARLIMS systems.
• Diagnosing technical issues and resolving problems.
• Conducting reporting and analysis tasks.

Experience:

• At least 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role.

Language proficiency:

• English (IELTS C1 level).

Technical skills:

• Knowledge of SAP Basis fundamentals.
• Experience working with STARLIMS or similar LIMS systems.
• Proficiency in working with Crystal Reports.
• Experience with MSSQL databases, including the ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
• Knowledge of SSL (STARLIMS Scripting Language).
• Scripting skills using JScript.NET and Node.js.
• Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.

Equipment handling skills:

• Basic knowledge of server and network equipment.

Educational background and training:

• Bachelor's Degree: Process Automation Engineering
