The Asset Manager is responsible to support Company Senior Leadership in development of the Asset Management Plans, preparation of the strategies, leading cross-functional and transverse activities, risk and interface management plans.
Job duties:
- Collaborate with Operating Companies and Contractors in executing Annual
- Work Programs and Budgets for offshore projects.
- Provide oversight in all areas and stages of the Field/Asset Development.
- Ensure efficient field development and optimal production from existing layers.
- Conduct geological-technological and economic control, analyze results, and
- present proposals to enhance project outcomes. Pursue the ultimate goal of
- profitability and keep business mindset to ensure the interests of shareholder.
- Safeguard SOCAR's interests in projects.
Participate in the preparation of projects for the construction and installation of
- technological facilities.
- Monitor the removal of wells from the fund in accordance with existing rules.
- Analyze and evaluate work to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Attend all committee meetings to facilitate coordination within the project.
- Participate in the approval process of Annual Work Programs from inception to
- completion.
- Monitor the execution of works by the Operator company based on the approved
- program.
- Monitor the environmental condition of contract areas under PSAs/RSAs, etc.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to SUMI's supervisory board.
- Prepare references related to the current status and other special topics,
- conducting appropriate analyses.
- Maintain the A3 Business Plan.
- Monitor and analyze asset performance data, ensuring efficiency and identifying
- areas for improvement.
Oversee risk assessments and manage mitigation strategies for asset-related
- risks.
- Lead efforts in implementing new technologies or processes for better asset
- management.
Additional requirements (education, experience):
- Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in upstream (offshore Oil & Gas) asset/project/program management
- Comprehensive understanding of offshore oil and gas operations, including
- exploration, drilling, and field development.
- In-depth knowledge of Production Sharing Agreements phylosophy and offshore
- project operations.
- Strong analytical skills to assess project outcomes, evaluate results, and propose
- improvements.
- Demonstrated experience in project planning, including the preparation of
- construction and installation projects for technological facilities.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring alignment with
- approved programs

- Fluent in Azerbaijani, English, Russian
- PMP, Specialized training courses in Oil & Gas Asset Management
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business Management)
