Role Synopsis:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Metallurgical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge materials and processes used in high-performance systems.

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct material selection, analysis, and testing for components used in relevant applications
• Support metallurgical process development, including heat treatment, welding, casting, and surface treatments
• Evaluate material performance under extreme conditions such as high pressure, temperature, and stress
• Investigate and resolve materials-related failures and quality issues in coordination with production and quality teams
• Interpret standards and specifications related to metallic materials (ASTM, ISO, MIL-STD, etc.)
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and contribute to project reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, R&D, and procurement
• Ensure compliance with industry and safety regulations, especially those specific to the relevant industry sector

Required background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience in metallurgy or materials engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Required skills:

• Good command of English (written and spoken) – required for technical documentation and communication
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with metallurgical testing methods, standards, and laboratory practices
• Experience with failure analysis, non-destructive testing (NDT), or metal processing techniques is an advantage
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
