We are looking for an experienced Business Development & Tendering Engineer to support our growth in the Oil & Gas market. The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge, tendering expertise, and business development skills to identify opportunities, prepare competitive proposals, and expand our customer base.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, tendering, or business development within the Oil & Gas sector
- Experience with pumps, rotating equipment, and mechanical equipment
- Strong understanding of tendering and bidding processes
- Experience working with EPC contractors, procurement teams, and end-users
- Ability to review RFQs, tender documents, and technical specifications
- Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals
- Familiarity with vendor registration processes and approved vendor lists (AVL)
- Knowledge of API standards and rotating equipment is an advantage
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Fluent in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector
- Monitor and manage tender opportunities from end-users, EPC contractors, and procurement organizations
- Review RFQs, ITTs, and technical specifications
- Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals
- Liaise with Peroni Pompe Italy regarding quotations, technical clarifications, and project requirements
- Follow up on submitted bids and negotiate commercial terms
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, EPC contractors, and procurement teams
- Support vendor registration and prequalification activities
