Turan Drilling & Engineering Company, a joint venture between global drilling and engineering contractor KCA Deutag (acquired by H&P, Inc. on 16th January 2025) and Azerbaijan drilling and integrated well services company SOCAR AQS, announces the start of the selection process for a one-year monetary support program (part-time internship) for the Part-time Internship Program 2026.

The main objectives of an internship program include:
- Skill Development: aim to enhance the participants' skills and knowledge relevant to their field of study or career aspirations. By working on actual projects and tasks, interns gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills that can be valuable in their future careers.
- Professional Networking: offer a chance to build professional relationships and expand networks within the industry. Interns have opportunities to interact with professionals, mentors, and colleagues, which can lead to valuable connections and potential job opportunities in the future.
- Career Exploration: provide a platform for individuals to explore different career paths and industries. Through exposure to various roles and responsibilities, interns can gain insights into their own interests and strengths, helping them make informed decisions about their future career paths.
- Practical Application of Knowledge: give the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have gained through their academic studies in real-world scenarios. This hands-on experience helps solidify their understanding of theoretical concepts and develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

- Company/Industry Familiarity: provide interns with exposure to the specific company or industry they are interning in. This familiarity allows them to gain insights into the company's operations, culture, and industry trends, making them better prepared for future employment within that sector.
We invite 3 rd -year students from the following faculties to apply for the Program:
- Oil and Gas Production / Petroleum Engineering
- Oil Mechanical Engineering
- Information Technologies and Control
- Power Engineering
As an intern at Turan Drilling and Engineering, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with highly skilled professionals in the industry. During the internship program, you will gain exposure to diverse departments, including drilling operations, maintenance, and supply chain management, learning and development, human resources. Additionally, you will acquire valuable insights into other essential aspects of the business, such as finance, health and safety, and more.
Internship Period: 6-month part-time role (6 hours/week) starting May 1, 2026, excluding summer and exam periods.
