Turan Drilling & Engineering is a joint venture between global drilling and engineering contractor, KCA Deutag and Azerbaijan drilling and integrated well services company, SOCAR AQS.  On 16th January 2025, the KCA Deutag group of companies was acquired by Helmerich and Payne Inc. (H&P), a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange(NYSE: HP). We uniquely combine each company’s long history of operating in the Caspian Region so that we are able to offer our drilling and engineering services as a local company with the backing of more than 130 years’ experience in the international oil and gas industry. Performance is key to our offering and, as one of the region’s leading drilling and engineering contractors, our passionate team are constantly looking for ways to improve the quality of what we do so that we deliver an outstanding operational performance on each of the drilling rigs we work on, with safety and performance always at the forefront.
