Key Responsibilities:
Reservoir Management & Development Strategy
- Develop reservoir management strategies to optimize gas and condensate recovery and extend reservoir life.
- Utilize reservoir simulation and predictive modeling to support development planning.
- Evaluate potential production flows.
Monitoring & Performance Optimization
- Supervise drilling and seismic activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze seismic and well data to model reservoir performance and adjust development plans accordingly.
- Implement enhanced gas and condensate recovery techniques to maximize well productivity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with geologists, drilling engineers, and production teams to align on development objectives.
- Act as a technical advisor for reservoir-related aspects in cross-disciplinary project teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the reservoir management team.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Present reservoir development plans and performance insights to management.
- Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Cost & Budget Management
- Develop and manage budgets for reservoir development projects.
- Evaluate cost-effective technologies and methods to enhance reservoir performance.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
Ideal candidate profile:
- Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering
- 15+ years of experience and minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Gas reservoir experience
- Experience in gas/condensate and gas industry, including production planning, production engineering, petroleum engineering, well integrity engineering and operations.
- Experience with production & activities planning, including knowledge of petroleum engineering, offshore production, interface with green and brownfield projects, understanding of field development planning and execution, drilling & completion and process engineering, reservoir management, well modelling, stimulation and testing, computer programming and flow assurance
- Preferably knowledge of Intervention Engineering
- Preferably experience in international O&G Operator company
- Exceptional leadership skills
