Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate coil tubing operations, ensuring adherence to job plans and safety protocols.
- Lead and mentor coil tubing crews, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
- Monitor and evaluate crew performance, addressing any issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure the proper setup and operation of coil tubing equipment and tools on-site.
- Oversee the execution of coil tubing jobs, troubleshooting and resolving any operational issues promptly.
- Conduct pre-job and post-job meetings to review procedures, performance, and lessons learned.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular safety briefings, hazard assessments, and safety drills with the crew.
- Ensure all incidents, near-misses, and safety concerns are reported and investigated promptly.
- Provide technical support and expertise during coil tubing operations, ensuring optimal performance of equipment and tools.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in coil tubing technology and techniques.
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new tools, equipment, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients during coil tubing projects.
- Communicate job progress, performance, and any issues to clients in a professional and timely manner.
- Address client concerns and requirements, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Ensure all coil tubing equipment is maintained, inspected, and serviced according to company standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any equipment issues and ensure readiness for operations.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in coil tubing operations, with at least 1 years in a supervisory role (FS2, FS3).
- Strong understanding of coil tubing equipment, tools, and techniques.
- Proven track record of successfully supervising and executing coil tubing jobs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in using coil tubing software and other relevant tools.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
- Certification in well control (e.g., IWCF, IADC) or other relevant safety certifications.
- Experience with advanced coil tubing technologies and complex well interventions.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and best practices.
