Position Overview

• The Architect is responsible for developing accurate architectural drawings that align with client needs and project requirements. The role involves coordinating with clients and project teams to ensure accurate, architectural drawings, reviews and clarifies project documents, prepares detailed shop and as-built drawings, and conducts site visits to verify that construction aligns with the intended design.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural drawings that clearly reflect project requirements, design proposals, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, functional needs, and design preferences, ensuring proposed concepts align with project goals.
• Prepare comprehensive shop drawings with complete material specifications and all necessary technical details.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in project documentation and issue RFIs to clients and internal teams to obtain timely clarification.
• Ensure all architectural drawings comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and verify adherence to design intent, quality requirements, and project timelines.
• Work closely with engineers, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate design elements and resolve technical or design-related issues.
• Prepare and deliver final as-built drawings, ensuring all changes and site adjustments are accurately reflected.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction projects.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in architectural software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit).
• A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations specific projects.

Core Competencies

• Excellent communication skills to present ideas to clients and coordinate effectively with project teams.
• Strong attention to detail, and accuracy, with good problem-solving.
• Ability to see the big picture, apply innovative solutions, and create appealing, functional spaces.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in Azerbaijani and good command of English is required.
