System/Telephony Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, File Server, Group Policy, and IIS.
  • Manage Linux-based systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat), ensuring stability, security, and performance.
  • Oversee virtualization infrastructure using VMware technologies (ESXi, vCenter), including deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Support Microsoft 365 Admin Center for user lifecycle management, licensing, and service configurations.
  • Execute server migration projects (physical and virtual) with a focus on minimal downtime and full data integrity.
  • Configure and maintain web servers such as Nginx, ensuring reliable and secure hosting environments.
  • Design, implement, and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Administer and tune database systems, including MongoDB and PostgreSQL, for reliability and performance.
  • Manage and support VoIP/IP telephony systems, primarily 3CX and Yeastar, ensuring seamless communication infrastructure.
  • Monitor overall system health, apply regular updates and patches, and enforce security best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and drive infrastructure improvements.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in system administration, virtualization, and telephony.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Solid experience with Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, GPO, IIS, etc.).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Linux distributions (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat).
  • Proficiency with VMware virtualization platforms (ESXi, vCenter).
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions, especially Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Proven experience in server migration (both physical-to-virtual and virtual-to-virtual).
  • Knowledge and experience with web servers like Nginx.
  • Practical understanding of database management systems, particularly MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
  • Working knowledge of VoIP/IP telephony systems, including 3CX and Yeastar.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
