Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Website & Social Media specialist to oversee the daily management, maintenance, and optimization of our website managing our social media channels, creating engaging content, and growing our online community. This role involves ensuring the website is fully functional, up-to-date, and delivering a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development, content management systems (CMS), and a keen eye for design and usability. As a Website & Social Media, you’ll be responsible for coordinating updates, troubleshooting issues, and working with the management teams to ensure the website and the company social media meet business goals.

Candidate Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Website Manager, Web Developer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and web development frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) to track and report on website performance.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them for website optimization.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) to optimize visual content.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and their respective best practices.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, tools, and algorithms.
- Experience with social media advertising and managing paid campaigns.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to adapt the tone and style for different platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in content creation.
Key Responsibilities for the Website:
- Website Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain the website’s content, ensuring that all pages are accurate, relevant, and aligned with the company’s goals and branding.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any technical issues or bugs affecting the functionality or user experience of the website. Ensure optimal website performance at all times.
- Content Management: Oversee content updates, ensuring new information (articles, blog posts, product updates) is added promptly and accurately.
- Website Optimization: Implement strategies to improve website speed, performance, and user experience. Optimize images, scripts, and other media to ensure fast loading times.
- SEO Management: Ensure that the website is optimized for search engines (SEO) by implementing the best practices for on-page SEO, including meta tags, keywords, and structured data.
- User Experience (UX) & Design: Collaborate with the design team to ensure the website layout and user interface are user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to monitor website performance, track traffic, and provide insights into areas for improvement. Report on key metrics such as visitor engagement and conversion rates.
- Website Security & Backups: Monitor website security to prevent any potential vulnerabilities or cyber threats. Perform regular website backups and ensure security patches are applied.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and Senior Management to align the website with broader business initiatives and campaigns.
- Mobile & Cross-Browser Optimization: Ensure the website is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices and all modern browsers.
- Compliance & Accessibility: Ensure that the website complies with legal and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities for Social Media:
- Social Media Strategy Development: Plan and execute social media campaigns that align with our overall marketing goals and objectives. Create content calendars and ensure a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
- Content Creation & Management: Develop engaging, creative, and high-quality content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics. Work with the design and marketing teams to create visually appealing posts and advertisements.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media. Build and nurture relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates.
- Social Media Advertising: Manage paid social media campaigns, including budgeting, ad creation, and performance analysis. Optimize campaigns to ensure the best ROI.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track social media performance using analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or similar) to measure the success of campaigns. Provide insights and recommendations for improving engagement and growth.
- Trend Monitoring & Industry Insights: Stay up to date with the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices in social media. Adapt strategies to stay competitive and relevant in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (including marketing, sales, and customer service) to ensure social media content and strategies are aligned with overall company goals and initiatives.
- Brand Awareness & Growth: Develop strategies to grow the company’s social media presence organically and through paid campaigns. Use analytics and engagement data to adjust tactics and improve reach.
- Social Media Campaigns: Conceptualize and implement innovative social media campaigns to boost engagement and promote products, services, or events.
