Position Title - Tender and Cost Control Engineer (level may be adjusted to Senior based on experience)

Role Purpose
- The Tender & Cost Control Engineer is responsible for accurate quantity take‑offs, BOQs, and cost verification across both pre‑contract (tender) and post‑contract (execution control) phases. The role ensures tender submissions are technically sound and subcontractor payment claims reflect actual executed works. This is an independent control role, separate from site execution.
Key Responsibilities
Pre‑Contract (Tender):
- Prepare BOQs and quantity take‑offs from drawings and specifications.
- Support cost estimation for tender submissions.
- Identify scope gaps and technical risks in tender documents.
- Support Commercial Director during tender clarifications.
Post‑Contract (Execution Control):
- Verify subcontractor F2 / IPC quantity claims against approved BOQs and actual progress.
- Challenge incorrect or inflated quantity submissions.
- Approve verified quantities for payment processing.
Coordination:
- Coordinate with Planning and Cost Control engineers.
- Ensure transparent documentation of assumptions and quantities.
Authority & Accountability
- Accountable for technical and quantitative accuracy of BOQs and verified quantities. Has authority to reject unsupported F2 / IPC claims. Independent from COO and site execution teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5–10+ years experience in estimation, tendering, or cost control.
- Strong experience with BOQs and construction quantities.
- EPC / EPCm experience preferred.

- Work schedule: 5 working days per week, Saturday and Sunday off
