ASG Business Aviation is seeking to recruit an Aircraft Maintenance Logistics and Procurement Specialist to join our rapidly growing aircraft maintenance team at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Position Description: 

• As an Aircraft Maintenance Logistics and Procurement Specialist with ASG Business Aviation you will be part of the aircraft maintenance Team reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance. This role involves sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, contract negotiation, cost analysis, and ensuring that procurement activities align with the company's objectives. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for optimizing sourcing and purchasing processes to deliver the best value for the company and maintain quality standards. This position requires solid communication and relationship skills and a strong understanding of procurement processes and related business functions

Your key responsibilities will include:

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee ASG BA aircraft parts, materials and tooling inventory (stock management)
• Coordinate with the ASG BA contracted MROs to understand logistic needs, to include, planned and unplanned material requests
• Manage and coordinate all aircraft part, materials and tooling procurement activities to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. (Including out of office AOG requirements)
• Manage the ASG material and component supply chain to include, shipping and customs as required
• Identify, evaluate, and select material and component vendors capable of meeting ASG BA requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers
• Manages the administration of supplier contracts including contract files and data management.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, including parts used, parts ordered, and parts received
• Plan and forecast future parts needs based on maintenance schedules and anticipated repairs
• Review purchasing data to identify spending patterns, trends, fulfillment performance, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations and standards in parts storage and handling
• Manage all supplier material and component removed from ASG BA aircraft with regards to repairs, overhaul and when applicable warranty claims.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

• University Degree in Aircraft Engineering/Aeronautical/Aerospace/Industrial or equivalent is desirable
• Excellent communication skills and fluency (written and verbal) in the English language is required.

Work Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in the Aviation industry, 3 of which working in a procurement environment is desirable
• Experience maintaining the Gulfstream aircraft type is desirable

Working conditions:

• In accordance with the Labour Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
• Job Location: Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Mardakan highway
• Work schedule: Full-time (5 days per week, from 10:00 to 19:00)
• Transportation is provided by the company from Koroglu m/s.
