About the Position:
We are currently seeking a talented, dynamic, and motivated SIS Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in school settings and a strong command of IT.
Requirements are as follows:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in IT.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and colleagues.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to communicate fluently verbally and in writing in the Azerbaijan Language, English.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Collect and organize data from various school departments and input it accurately into the school system.
- Collaborate with the Admissions office to enroll students using ManageBac via the OpenApply program, offering guidance and support on its usage.
- Generate student ID numbers and individual email accounts (easlearn.com) for registration on ManageBac.
- Ensure all data entries in the school database are error-free and promptly update information as needed.
- Maintained the security and confidentiality of student and parent records.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on using the Student Information System, both at the start of the academic year and as necessary.
- Set up ManageBac accounts for new teachers, provide personalized training sessions, and offer ongoing support.
- Offer continuous assistance to teachers, across both Primary and Secondary levels, in navigating and utilizing ManageBac effectively.
- Make necessary adjustments to class rosters and schedules as requested.
- Handle end-of-year and start-of-year operations within ManageBac, including creating new academic terms, promoting students, and assigning classes and teachers according to schedules.
- Customize and generate reports throughout the year, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and meeting requests from supervisory staff.
- Collaborate with teachers on report generation, offering concise written guidelines for ManageBac usage.
- Conduct thorough reviews of teachers' term reports to ensure completeness before dissemination to parents.
- Stay informed about updates and changes to the Student Information System, providing staff with necessary updates and conducting training sessions as required.
- Gather student photos for integration into ManageBac.
- Generate and distribute reports and information from ManageBac to various school departments upon request, including school management, finance, and admissions.
- Manage email communications to parents on behalf of the school, including correspondence related to the finance department.
- Provide support to other IT staff members, such as assisting with Education Perfect.
- Liaise with ManageBac and OpenApply technical support for any necessary system changes or updates.
