PE Teacher – Inspiring a Lifelong Love of Sport and Physical Activity

Azerbaijan British College (ABC) is seeking a dynamic and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our vibrant team. We are committed to delivering high-quality PE that prioritises maximum participation, enjoyment, and skill development for every student.

The successful candidate will:

• Foster a love of movement and physical activity by creating inclusive, energetic, and engaging lessons for all students.
• Champion maximum participation in every session, ensuring that every child is active, involved, and challenged appropriately.
• Deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum.
• Use innovative approaches to track and assess skills progression, supporting each student’s personal growth and achievement.
• Promote values of sportsmanship, teamwork, resilience, and wellbeing within the wider school community.
• Contribute to the growth of the school’s extracurricular sports programme and inter-school competitions.

Requirements, Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Physical Education or a related field (teaching qualification preferred).
• Experience in delivering high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and activities.
• A proven ability to inspire students of all abilities to participate and achieve.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team.
• Good knowledge of English;
• Understanding of child safeguarding obligations;
