Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with the subject teacher (and other professionals as appropriate), in the development and planning of a suitable programme of support for pupils;
- Help to maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
- A key role of teaching assistants is in preparing the classroom for lessons.
- Supporting pupils with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Tidying up and keeping the classroom in good order
- All other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong curriculum understanding;
- Strong subject area knowledge;
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Operational knowledge of the Internet and web-related technologies
- Strategies for ensuring good behavior
- Good communication skills and command of spoken and written English.
- Understanding of child safeguarding obligations;
- Supports and promotes the ABC ethos of child-centered education without compromising our academic performance;
- Classroom Management
- To assist the Head of Department in doing all the work within the department.
- Verbal and written communication skills
