Work Location: Gadabay, Azerbaijan
Work Schedule: 15 working days / 15 rest days
Candidate Requirements:
- University degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Azerbaijani; knowledge of English and Russian is an asset
- Practical experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely receipt and registration of samples
- Conduct chemical analyses, prepare and process samples, operate lab equipment, and record/report results
- Clean, maintain, and prepare equipment for experiments
- Communicate analysis results to engineers and supervisors
- Prepare chemical reagents and solutions as per formulas
- Ensure precision in the preparation and standardization of solutions
- Support all technical operations in the chemistry lab
- Safely store chemicals and manage waste disposal in accordance with regulations
- Distribute lab equipment and materials in coordination with other lab assistants
- Assist with training and orientation of new lab personnel
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
