Position Overview
- The IT Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of the company’s computer network, end-user systems, hardware, and software. The role provides technical support, maintenance, inventory management, and user training for both on-site and off-site assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the IT Department and management in the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of computer network hardware, devices, and infrastructure.
- Ensure the continuous operation and technical maintenance of assigned hardware, systems, and applications.
- Maintain hardware, software, and license inventories; prepare and update asset information records for newly acquired equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on end-user computers and coordinate with vendors for warranty-related repairs and replacements.
- Perform data backup operations in accordance with established procedures and ensure secure storage of backup media.
- Install, configure, and connect end-user computers to the corporate network and domain; set up security settings and antivirus software.
- Install, remove, and support operating systems, office applications, and related software on corporate computers.
- Manage inventory of backup media and consumables, ensuring proper storage and protection.
- Deliver user training on operating systems and office applications through classroom, on-site, and remote sessions; prepare training documentation.
- Perform routine IT maintenance and assigned information systems tasks during off-site assignments as directed by IT management.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or vocational education in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support, system support, or helpdesk roles
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, office applications, and basic networking concepts
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware (PCs, printers, peripheral devices)
- Understanding of antivirus solutions, endpoint security, and data backup practices
- Experience in IT asset inventory management and technical documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide user support and training
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- English – advanced level, Russian – preferred, Turkish is an advantage,
