About the job:

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing production processes to ensure efficient, high-quality, and scalable manufacturing. This role supports the transition of projects from design to mass production by ensuring process readiness, capacity adequacy, and compliance with defined production KPIs, while working closely with design, quality, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute manufacturing activities during the project commissioning phase.
• Prepare and maintain process flow charts in line with production requirements.
• Perform manufacturability analyses and provide feedback to relevant design units.
• Verify the adequacy of workshops, equipment, tools, jigs, fixtures, and benches and manage procurement activities when required.
• Conduct capacity analyses and determine workforce requirements.
• Perform work studies and ensure effective line balancing.
• Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and participate in root cause and error analysis studies.
• Perform process capability analyses and ensure processes are suitable for mass production.
• Making weekly shift schedules based on production schedules, planning weekend work, making daily work schedules and following them up.
• To ensure and monitor that employees work in compliance with the occupational safety rules determined by the company and legal regulations.
• To monitor the implementation of maintenance plans made by the Machinery / Device Maintenance and Repair Unit for the benches, to make repair requests to the Machinery Device Maintenance and Repair Unit for faulty benches and equipment, to contribute within the scope of his/her authority by following the repair process, to act together with the Unit Manager on matters beyond his/her authority.
• To determine the needs of consumables used in production, to perform stock controls and to request their supply, to follow up the demand and supply process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, capacity planning, line balancing, and PFMEA.
• Experience in process documentation and production systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in delivering technical trainings is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and manufacturing-related tools.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
