About the Job:

• The Logistics and Warehouse Management Specialist will manage supply chain logistics processes, coordinate shipments, ensure compliance with national and international regulations, monitor material movements, and support warehouse and production operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics performance.

Responsibilities:

• Define supply chain logistics strategies and policies, manage the movement of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, and oversee storage operations.
• Coordinate import/export shipments with the Foreign Trade Specialist and manage compliance with international trade regulations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all outbound shipments to suppliers, customers, test sites, and other locations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all inbound shipments from suppliers, customers, and test sites to the facilities.
• Prepare and review transport documentation according to ADR regulations for dangerous goods, including transport permits, loading prohibitions, and security plans.
• Ensure shipments comply with national and international legislation when Roketsan acts as the shipper, including checking tonnage limits and dimensions.
• Evaluate cost-effective shipping methods (company vehicles, rental, or third-party services) based on shipment characteristics.
• Monitor vehicle compliance, inspections, and certifications (ADR compliance) to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Manage various types of transportation, including dangerous goods, partial, full, heavy, intra-city, and intercity shipments.
• Identify and implement improvements by linking transportation processes with overall logistics operations.
• Prepare service procurement specifications for transportation and coordinate all shipment requests from the Logistics Request Application.
• Ensure proper verification of vehicle/driver suitability and documentation in transport service procurements.
• Prepare the Hazardous Materials Annual Activity Report and submit it to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
• Track production, material movements, and material flow between warehouses, workshops, and projects using ERP and MES modules.
• Support production monitoring operations by preparing, updating, and implementing reports in coordination with the Information Systems Department.
• Manage work orders, warehouse requests, and ensure timely material output from workshops; monitor semi-finished products, scrap, returns, and urgent parts.
• Implement lean material movement practices such as line-side stock, Kanban, kit preparation, and direct material distribution to production technicians.
• Ensure packaging standards are applied, guide suppliers, minimize packaging errors, and organize product lashing operations in coordination with internal project and design units.
• Optimize storage areas for transport carts and crates, monitor deliveries, and implement environmentally friendly and efficient resource usage methods.
• Maintain department process documents, ensure interdepartmental communication, and take temporary or permanent measures for operational problems, proposing solutions to management as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, and warehouse management.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, including ADR and national/international legislation.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage shipments efficiently.
• Familiarity with ERP, MES, or production monitoring systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of ensuring compliance and process improvement.
