About the Job:
Azroksan is seeking an experienced Warhead Production and Process Engineer to design, develop, and improve production processes for warhead and explosive components used in rocket and missile systems. The role ensures process safety, product quality, and production efficiency during both development and mass production phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize warhead and explosive production processes in compliance with process safety and quality requirements.
- Monitor production processes, analyze process data, and prevent faulty or nonconforming production.
- Conduct process trials to improve production conditions, define new process parameters, and perform troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain production documents, including control plans, workflows, error analyses, and mass production instructions.
- Resolve discrepancy reports from production and incoming quality control, prepare corrective procedures, and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with design units to ensure manufacturability, tooling suitability, and proper transfer of technical data to production.
- Develop processes, special tools, jigs, and equipment to improve productivity, product quality, and occupational safety while reducing labor and defect rates.
- Prepare technical specifications for production devices/equipment and contribute to labor, investment, and cost planning for new projects.
- To ensure the production of finished and semi-finished products such as warheads and explosives.
- To ensure that the mixing, casting, pressing, feeding charge production, turning and assembly operations and prototype assemblies and all related energetic operations are carried out,
- To control the production flow and production program realization, to take measures within his/her authority to ensure continuity, to act together with the unit manager on matters beyond his/her authority,
- To make or coordinate repair and malfunction requests for the machines,
- To ensure that personal protective equipment is used in accordance with the rules for occupational safety and to comply with the rules for environmental protection,
- To ensure that production is carried out correctly and in accordance with work safety rules in the workshops, and to ensure that precautions are taken by identifying employee and equipment-based risks in advance,
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, or a related Engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, preferably in explosives, energetics, or high-risk production environments.
- Strong knowledge of process safety, quality systems, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience in process development, troubleshooting, and qualification activities.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and production environments.
