Location: Gum Adasi, Baku, Azerbaijan
Schedule: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday)
Transportation: Provided by the company via shuttle buses (to and from the office)
Key accountabilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and administer the company’s Management of Change (MoC) program across all assets and projects.
- Ensure all proposed changes are systematically evaluated for technical, safety, environmental, financial, and operational impacts before approval.
- Facilitate risk assessments, HAZOPs, HAZIDs, and impact reviews related to MoC.
- Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, HSE, Subsurface, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams to ensure alignment on change requirements.
- Maintain and continuously improve the MoC tracking system/database, ensuring all changes are documented, approved, and closed out.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate standards, and international Oil & Gas best practices
- Provide training, awareness sessions, and guidance on the MoC process to staff and contractors.
- Generate periodic MoC performance reports (KPIs, backlog, overdue actions) and present to management.
- Act as focal point during audits, regulatory inspections, and management reviews concerning MoC.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in MoC processes, workflows, and digitalization efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Process, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline).
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the related field, with a strong operational background in the oil and gas industry.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani; proficiency in English (minimum B1 level) is required. Russian language knowledge will be considered an advantage.
- Lean Six Sigma / Change Management Certification will be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with Document Management Systems (e.g., SharePoint, OpenText).
- Strong skills in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of digital transformation tools (Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and analytics.
- Deep knowledge of Oil & Gas operations, process safety, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to train, coach, and influence multidisciplinary teams.
- Skilled in decision-making under pressure and conflict resolution.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- High attention to detail with focus on compliance and documentation accuracy.
